Meet the Staff
The surgical staff at the Capital Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who assist in administration of anesthesia and surgery. The administrative staff are well-versed in health and insurance policies. All staff are CPR certified.
Office Administrator
Ms. Jeanne Perrotta is from Long Island, New York and has 26 years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has been working with Dr. Emery for 14 years and is directly responsible for all managerial aspects of the practice.
Patient Care Coordinator
Ms. Lorinda Ridley is a native Washingtonian. After college she went into the medical field. She worked for three years as a medical assistant. She entered the field of oral surgery and has been with Dr. Emery for the last ten years. Lorinda is responsible for the front desk, scheduling and coordinating appointments with you and your doctor.
Business Coordinator
Ms. Regina Bennett is originally from New Jersey. She started a nursing program while still in high school and became an operating room technician after college. After two years as an OR tech, she moved into the oral surgery field where she has remained for the past twenty-eight years. Regina, her children and her husband, who was in the military, have also lived in Japan, England, Turkey and Germany. For the last fifteen years, Regina has worked on and off with Dr. Emery each time her family has returned to the United States. She is now here to stay. Regina loves bowling and meeting, talking to and helping people. She loves spending time with family and friends is now an AARP member!
Clincal Coordinator
Ms. Kenia Diaz is from Puerto Cortes, Honduras. She has 13 years of experience in dentistry of which nine are in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She is a certified medical assistant and has been with Dr. Emery for nine years.
Implant Coordinator
Ms. Asma Elakari is from Morocco. She completed her DDS degree at Pavlov State University in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She later moved to Washington, DC to join her family. She fluently speaks Russian, French and Arabic and has eight years of experience in dentistry, two of which are in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Asma previously worked with Dr. Emery in 2002 and is happy to return after having her two children ages five and two. As implant coordinator, her position is to be a bridge between Dr. Emery and our referring doctors and their offices to smoothly coordinate the details of each implant case. Asma loves to help and work for people and she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Technical Operations/Research Study Coordinator
Mr. Ross Lagasse is from Fairfield, Connecticut. Ross was a hospital corpsman in the military for eight years before he moved to the private sector. He has over ten years experience in information technology and computer graphics and five years experience in the healthcare field. He has been with Dr. Emery for over two years. Ross assists with all information technology and coordinates our ongoing clinical research.
Clinical Assistant
Ms. Racheal Samuel is from Trinidad. Racheal has seven years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and ten years experience in the dentistry. Racheal has been been with Dr. Emery for seven years.
Clinical Assistant
Ms. Cari Davis is from Detroit, Michigan. She has 16 years of experience in dentistry including 14 years working for periodontal surgeons. She has been with Dr. Emery for two years.
